New York Law Journal Names Charles Allen a 2023 Rising Star

Cleary Gottlieb partner Charles Allen has been named a Rising Star in New York Law Journal’s annual list of the region’s most promising lawyers aged 40 and younger.

Charles plays a leading role in the firm’s representation of companies in domestic and cross-border public and private mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and corporate governance matters. Charles is also active in the firm’s pro bono practice, primarily advising on small business and nonprofit matters and on veterans benefit cases, in addition to other matters.

Rising Star honorees were selected based on nominations of attorneys aged 40 and under who have established a record of accomplishments and demonstrated that they are top contributors to the practice of law and their communities.
