Old Second Bancorp to Acquire West Suburban Bancorp

Cleary Gottlieb is representing Citigroup Global Markets Inc. as financial advisor to Old Second Bancorp Inc. (Old Second) in its acquisition of West Suburban Bancorp Inc. (West Suburban), in a cash and stock transaction valued at approximately $297 million.

The transaction was announced on July 26, 2021, and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021, subject to approval by Old Second and West Suburban shareholders, customary closing conditions, and regulatory approvals.
