Manitou to Acquire 75% Stake in COME and Metal Work

Cleary Gottlieb is representing the Manitou Group in the acquisition of a 75% stake in each of COME S.r.l. and Metal Work S.r.l.

These transactions will enable the group to bring together two important stages for the assembly of machines produced at the Manitou Group’s plant in Castelfranco, Emilia Romagna. The closing of the acquisition is expected for early 2024.

Manitou Group is one of the leading global players in the handling, aerial work platforms, and earthmoving sectors. COME is a company specializing in the contract manufacture of products for medium and heavy mechanical construction. Metal Work is a company active in sheet metal work for the engineering sector.
