Cleary Gottlieb represented Lagardère Active, a unit of Lagardère SCA, in its acquisition of the Massin Group, publisher of magazines “Arts & Décoration” and “Maisons & Travaux”, with readerships in excess of 5 million and 4 million, respectively. The deal signed and closed on April 30.
Lagardère is one of the world’s leading media groups. The group owns other publications directed at similar audiences including “Elle,” “Elle Décoration,” “Le Journal de la Maison” and “Campagne Décoration”.
