Kohler in Lombardini Acquisition

Cleary Gottlieb represented Kohler Corporation in its acquisition of the Lombardini Group from Mark IV Luxembourg S.a.r.l., a subsidiary of Mark IV Industries Inc. The agreement was signed on May 5 and the deal is expected to close in the early summer, subject to regulatory approval.

Headquartered in Reggio Emilia, Italy, the Lombardini Group manufactures small diesel, gas, and petrol engines at five European and Asian plants for use by the industrial, transportation, agriculture, marine and light construction industries.
