Goldman Sachs in Financing of $430 Million Mortgage Loan for Fairmont Hotel

Cleary Gottlieb represented Goldman Sachs in the financing and securitization of a $430 million mortgage loan to an affiliate of Manchester Financial Group, a San Diego-based real estate investment firm.

The loan is secured by a ground lease on the Fairmont Hotel, a luxury hotel in downtown Austin, Texas. The property features more than 1,000 rooms, 140,000 square feet of meeting space, a spa, and other amenities.

The transaction closed on July 8, 2024.
