Cleary LatAm Matter Wins Banking and Finance Deal of the Year at Legal 500 Mexico Awards 2025

Cleary Gottlieb was recognized alongside Mexican law firm Galicia for advising on the Banking and Finance Deal of the Year at the Legal 500 Mexico Awards 2025, recently held in Mexico City.

Cleary and Galicia advised on the $285 million private securitization transaction entered into by sponsor Coppel, in favor of Grupo Financiero Acitinver, with a syndicate of 12 financial institutions.

The Legal 500 Mexico Awards recognize the leading legal players from private practice and in-house who have contributed to the vibrancy of the Mexican market. Winners are based on The Legal 500’s independent research for their annual directory.
