The Bank of New York’s $2.5 Billion Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented the underwriters in The Bank of New York’s offering of $750 million 4.587% fixed-rate/floating-rate callable senior medium-term bank notes due 2027, $500 million floating-rate callable senior medium-term bank notes due 2027, and $1.25 billion 4.729% fixed-rate/floating-rate callable senior medium-term bank notes due 2029.

The underwriters for the offering were BofA Securities Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Siebert Williams Shank & Co. LLC, and BNY Mellon Capital Markets LLC. The transaction priced on April 14, 2025, and is expected to settle on April 22, 2025.
