Global Healthcare Exchange Completes Acquisition of Syft

Cleary Gottlieb represented Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) in its acquisition of Tampa, Florida-based Syft.

The completed transaction was announced on February 28, 2022.

GHX is headquartered in Louisville, Colorado, with employees in the United States, Canada, and parts of Europe. More than 20 years ago, GHX pioneered health care’s largest cloud-based supply chain network, which today connects thousands of healthcare organizations across the globe. The network represents health care providers operating more than 80% of licensed beds in the U.S. and suppliers representing more than 85% of the medical-surgical products used in healthcare delivery. Cleary also represented GHX in its acquisition of Lumere in 2020, a leading provider of evidence-based data and analytics.

Syft is a leading provider of AI-enhanced inventory control and end-to-end supply chain management software and services. As a wholly owned subsidiary of GHX, Syft joins GHX’s value-based care divisions’ growing portfolio of solutions that help modernize the supply chain.
