Cleary Gottlieb represented Cobepa in Enoflex’s acquisition of Sparflex.

On February 23, 2021, the The National Commission of Markets and Competition (CNMC) conditionally cleared the acquisition of Sparflex by Enoflex (a portfolio company of Copeba). The transaction leads to the combination of two manufacturers of wine capsules, Enoplastic and Sparflex.

Cleary represented Cobepa/Enoplastic throughout the Spanish merger control process, including the submission of a fix-it-first commitment during the first phase investigation.
