Compañía Minera del Pacífico in Term Loan

Cleary Gottlieb represented Compañía Minera del Pacífico, a subsidiary of Chile’s largest iron ore producer CAP S.A., in a term loan with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank Limited, New York Branch, as administrative agent, lead arranger, and lender.

The facility includes an accordion option and the possibility of a green transition amendment.

The transaction signed on November 6, 2024, and the loan was disbursed on November 8, 2024.
