Cleary Gottlieb Receives NYCDS Pro Bono Partner Award

Cleary Gottlieb received the New York County Defenders Services’ (NYCDS) Pro Bono Partner Award.

Cleary was celebrated at NYCDS’ Celebration – 25 Years event for its work with NYCDS to bring litigation against the Department of Corrections based on the unlawful recording of thousands of attorney-client phone calls and the mass surveillance of NYC communities through their continued contract with Securus Technologies. Cleary partner Rishi Zutshi accepted the award on the Firm’s behalf.
