Cleary Named ‘Pro Bono Partner of the Year’ by A4TE

Cleary has been recognized as “Pro Bono Partner of the Year” by the Advocates for Trans Equality (A4TE).

Cleary was honored at A4TE’s Pro Bono Recognition Dinner for its work with A4TE to remove the many barriers facing trans people, particularly those seeking medically necessary health care. A4TE noted the Firm’s extensive involvement with the many iterations and filings of the Trans Joy Amicus Brief in cases across the country, including A4TE’s current efforts at the U.S. Supreme Court in L.W. v. Skrmetti. Cleary partner Carmine Boccuzzi accept the award on the Firm’s behalf.

The Firm has a longstanding partnership with A4TE and regularly partners with the organization on pro bono matters for transgender individuals.
