Cleary Gottlieb Named Asian Legal Business International Law Firm of the Year

Cleary Gottlieb was named “International Law Firm of the Year” by the Asian Legal Business Korea Law Awards for 2016.

The firm was also recognized for its work on three deals:

• Korea Deal of the Year and M&A Deal of the Year (Premium): MBK Partners’ acquisition of Homeplus from Tesco
• Debt Market Deal of the Year (Midsize): The Republic of Korea’s Panda Bond Offering
• Equity Market Deal of the Year: Mirae Asset Life Insurance’s IPO

The winners were announced at an award ceremony in Seoul on November 17, 2016.
