Cleary Gottlieb a Top 15 Firm in India Business Law Journal 2024 Report

India Business Law Journal (IBLJ) has named Cleary Gottlieb among the top 15 international firms for India-related work in its 18th annual report on law firms operating in the region.

The report highlights Cleary as “one of the top firms to reckon with for the premium end of the Indian market,” and includes client commendations for partners Nallini Puri and Tihir Sarkar, who are “go-to names for MNCs and financial sponsors engaging in transformative deals in India.”

The report also mentions the firm’s recent work on Walt Disney Company’s combination of its Star India business with Viacom18 to form a strategic joint venture with Reliance Industries and TPG Capital’s investment in UPL Sustainable Agri Solutions.

This is the third year in a row that IBLJ has named Cleary a top 15 international firm for India-related work.
