The compensation offered to associates in our Paris office compares favorably to that of French firms or international firms with an office in Paris.
The principles governing compensation of our partners are also applied to our associates. Thus, compensation is in general based only on the seniority of the associate concerned and not linked to the achievement of specific performance criteria. In particular, we do not have any targets relating to hours or other measurements of associates’ achievements or commitment. We expect, however, each lawyer within the firm to give his or her best and to strive for excellence.
Associates also receive a number of benefits customary in Paris.
