United Technologies Acquires Rockwell Collins for $30 Billion

Cleary Gottlieb is advising United Technologies Corporation (UTC) on the antitrust aspects of its $30 billion acquisition of Rockwell Collins, Inc.

On September 4, 2017, UTC and Rockwell Collins announced that they reached a definitive agreement under which UTC will acquire Rockwell Collins. Once the deal is complete, United Technologies’ UTC Aerospace Systems and Rockwell Collins will combine into a new unit called Collins Aerospace Systems.
