QIAGEN N.V. in $640 Million Equity Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented the underwriters, led by Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft, Goldman Sachs International and J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd., in a recent equity offering by QIAGEN N.V. QIAGEN issued 31,625,000 common shares (including those issued upon exercise of the over-allotment option) and raised approximately $640 million. The common shares were registered with the SEC and have been listed on the regulated market (regulierter markt) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Global Select Market. The deal closed on September 30 and the over-allotment option closed on October 7.
