Goldman and Aareal Capital in Financing of 724 Fifth Avenue

Cleary Gottlieb represented Goldman Sachs, as mortgage lender, and Aareal Capital, as mezzanine lender, in connection with the origination of mortgage and mezzanine loans totaling $275 million to a Wharton Properties / SL Green Realty Corp. joint venture. The loan is secured by 724 Fifth Avenue in New York City, a retail and office building in the prime Plaza District retail corridor.
