Cleary Welcomes Eight Students for City Solicitors Horizons Work Experience

Cleary Gottlieb’s London office is proud to be hosting eight students for a one-week work experience placement under the City Solicitors Horizons program.

The work experience provides overviews of the firm’s key practice areas alongside hands-on experience of the work performed by our lawyers. The students take part in skills workshops, mock interviews, and networking events to raise their confidence and aspirations for applying to law firms in the future.

City Solicitors Horizons is a social mobility initiative supporting undergraduates from low socioeconomic backgrounds aspiring to a career in law. Cleary was one of the firms that founded the initiative in 2015. Previous mentees supported under this scheme have received job offers from top law firms in London.
