Cleary Gottlieb has been shortlisted for five IFLR Europe 2020 awards:

  • Russia Firm of the Year
  • Team of the Year: Debt and Equity-Linked
  • Team of the Year: Equity
  • Team of the Year: Financial Services Regulatory
  • U.S. Law Firm of the Year

The firm also advised on five shortlisted deals of the year:

  • Deal of the Year: Debt and Equity-Linked (Credit Suisse bail-inable SOFR notes; and ENEL SDG KPI-linked bonds)
  • Deal of the Year: Equity (Verallia IPO)
  • Deal of the Year: M&A (Merck – GlaxoSmithKline JV)
  • Deal of the Year: Private Equity (EQT/Galderma Skin Health)
