Cleary Gottlieb Hosts Insight Day for City Solicitors Horizons Students

Cleary Gottlieb’s London office hosted an Insight Day for 25 first-year university students as part of its longstanding partnership with City Solicitors Horizons.

Alongside an introduction to the firm’s practice areas, the students were able to take part in a disputes workshop, a training session on interview skills, and a panel discussion with trainee solicitors in the London office. The Insight Day aimed to offer the students first-hand experience of the firm’s work and to support the students as they prepare for law firm applications and assessment days.

City Solicitors Horizons is a social mobility initiative supporting undergraduates in the United Kingdom aspiring to a career in law. Cleary was one of the firms that founded the initiative in 2015. Each year, our volunteers provide mentorship and work experience under the scheme as part of the firm’s ongoing work to improve access to the legal profession.
