Cleary Gottlieb represented the Federative Republic of Brazil in an SEC-registered offering of $1.5 billion aggregate principal amount of 4.500 percent global bonds due 2029.
BofA Merrill Lynch, Bradesco BBI, and J.P. Morgan acted as joint lead managers for the offering. The offering priced on March 21, 2019, and closed on March 28, 2019. The global notes were registered with the SEC under Brazil’s registration statement on Schedule B and were listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange on March 28, 2019.
