Mexico in €2.4 Billion Bond Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented the United Mexican States (Mexico) in a multitranche registered offering totaling €2.4 billion comprised of €1.4 billion principal amount of 4.625% global bonds due 2033 and €1 billion principal amount of 5.125% global bonds due 2037.
The offering launched and priced on January 27, 2025, and is expected to close on February 4, 2025. Mexico intends to use the net proceeds from the sale of the bonds for its general financing purposes.
BNP PARIBAS, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Deutsche Bank AG London Branch, HSBC Bank plc, and Société Générale acted as underwriters for the offering.
