Cleary Gottlieb acted as counsel to the underwriters, led by Citigroup Global Markets, Credit Suisse Securities (USA), Morgan Stanley and U.S. Bancorp Investments, in the September 2011 offering by American International Group (AIG) of $1.2 billion of its 4.250% notes due 2014 and $800 million of its 4.875% notes due 2016.
