On December 14 and 15, 2021, Legislative Decrees no. 184 and 195 entered into effect, amending the Italian Criminal Code with regard to anti-money laundering offenses and fraud and counterfeiting of non-cash means of payment. The amendments also concern the regulation of corporate liability under Legislative Decree 231/2001. Giulia Checcacci and Paola Maria Onorato discussed these recent legislative developments and their potential impact on 231 compliance models.
