Cleary Gottlieb counsel Gianluca Faella gave a speech on “The Block Exemption of Vertical Agreements and Online Sales: Some Critical Remarks” at the 20th Annual Conference of the Italian Society of Law and Economics (SIDE), held at the Sapienza University of Rome.

The SIDE Annual Conference aims to provide a forum for the development, discussion, and dissemination of studies on any topic regarding law and economics, with a strongly interdisciplinary set-up.

Gianluca’s lecture addressed some key topics related to the evolution of market dynamics in the distribution sector and the subsequent review and implementation of the rules on vertical restraints (VBER, dated 2022). View the presentation here.
