The Impact of Changing Administrations Webinar

We recently hosted a webinar for Cleary’s alumni community, covering how changing administrations globally are impacting M&A and activism, and how those leadership changes are shaping antitrust.

Our M&A and activism panel was moderated by Kim Spoerri, Partner and Co-Leader of our Public Company Group, and featured partners from our global team, Kyle Harris, J.T. Ho, Daniel Tierney, Rodolphe Elineau, and Manuel Silva. The group discussed trends in their respective markets, how different industries may be affected by administration changes, and their predictions for cross-border deal activity in 2025.

In our antitrust session, Partner Nicholas Levy led the conversation with partners D. Bruce Hoffman, Jackie Holland, Cunzhen Huang, Romi Lepetska, and Puja Patel taking a look back at the legacy of previous administrations in the U.S., the UK, and the European Union, and highlighting expected regulatory changes and potential restrictions on future mergers across regions.
