Business Development Senior Specialist

We are seeking a Business Development Senior Specialist to support our highly regarded antitrust practice in our Brussels office.

The role reports to the EMEA Practice Group BD Manager and is an important part of our global BDMC team.

Your role would be very versatile, and you would have the opportunity to work on a broad range of business and client development activities at local but also at European and global level.

The successful candidate will mainly handle the following tasks:

  • Lead on the preparation of pitches working closely with lawyers and colleagues.
  • Facilitate communication between partners within practices, industry groups or offices.
  • Identify and communicate new business opportunities.
  • Be responsible for all standard materials (credentials, pitches, bios etc.).
  • Compile local and pan-European legal directory and award submissions.
  • Support implementation of Practice Group plans.
  • Lead on pan-European business development projects.

To become a member of our enthusiastic and professional team you should tick many of the following boxes:

  • University degree (ideally in law, economics or business studies)
  • At least 5 years of Business Development experience in an international law firm or professional services organization
  • Fluent in English
  • Good knowledge of business and financial markets and showcasing a good understanding of antitrust law
  • Show initiative and bring new ideas

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
