Wolfgang Knapp’s practice focuses on European law and international arbitrations.
Wolfgang joined the firm in 1973, became a partner in 1981 and became a senior counsel in 2005. He was resident in the New York office from 1973 to 1974 and in the Hong Kong office from 1983 to 1986. Wolfgang served as special advisor to the EC Commissioner for industry and telecommunications, Martin Bangemann, from 1992 to 1993.
He is a member of the Wüstenrot Foundation and of the supervisory boards of Wüstenrot Holding AG and of Wüstenrot & Württembergische AG. He also acts as EU-Representative of Freudenberg & Co. KG.
