Thomas Yeh’s practice focuses on patent and trade secret disputes in federal district courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the International Trade Commission.
Thomas has successfully litigated dozens of high-profile intellectual property matters, frequently through trial. Most recently, he secured back-to-back jury trial wins, followed by a complainant-side victory at the International Trade Commission that resulted in a nine-figure settlement.
In addition, Thomas served as global coordinating counsel for one of the largest worldwide patent enforcement actions in history on behalf of a leading global semiconductor company, simultaneously filing more than 20 patent cases in U.S. district courts, the International Trade Commission, and around the world.
Thomas joined the firm as a partner in 2025 from another major international firm.

Netgear v. TP-Link, ITC: Netgear in a three-patent offensive case involving wireless communications technology; secured ITC victory, with the ALJ recommending issuance of an exclusion order.
Magna Mirrors v. SMR, W.D. Mich.: SMR in a nine-patent defensive case involving automotive safety technology; secured jury trial win.
RJ Reynolds v. Philip Morris, E.D. Va: Philip Morris in a two-patent offensive case involving vaporizer technology; secured jury trial win.
InterDigital v. ZTE, D. Del.: InterDigital in a two-patent offensive case involving cellular communications; secured jury trial win.
Oasis Tooling v. GlobalFoundries, D. Del.: GlobalFoundries in a two-patent defensive case semiconductor patent case; secured summary judgment victory.
Cisco v. Arista, ITC: Arista in ITC investigation; replaced prior counsel after adverse ITC determinations; subsequently prevailed following trial in both enforcement and modification proceedings.
Celgard v. Shenzhen Senior Technology, N.D. Cal.: Shenzhen Senior Technology in a lithium-ion battery technology patent and trade secret misappropriation claim; successfully defeated plaintiff’s request for a preliminary injunction; a result recognized by The American Lawyer’s “Litigators of the Week.”
Baker v. Illinois Tool Works, D. Del.: Illinois Tool Works and Alpha Packaging in patent litigation involving specialty products manufacturing; secured a summary judgment win in a rare finding of non-infringement of all asserted claims weeks before trial.
