Tom Lynch’s practice focuses on representation of debtors, creditors, and other parties-in-interest in a wide range of restructuring matters, including bankruptcy proceedings, bankruptcy-related transactions, out-of-court restructurings, and related litigation.

Tom also has an active pro bono practice, focusing principally on international human rights law and related issues.

Tom joined the firm in 2019.

  • FullBeauty Brands in the acquisition of assets of CUUP, Inc. through an assignment for the benefit of creditors process.

  • LATAM Airlines Group and its affiliates in Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, and the United States in the voluntary reorganization and restructuring of their debt under Chapter 11 protection in the United States.

  • HSBC Bank and related entities in defending multibillion-dollar clawback actions related to the Madoff Ponzi scheme and the bankruptcy of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities.

  • P3A in various litigation and third-party discovery matters relating to the transformation of Puerto Rico’s energy system, including advising on litigation matters seeking to impede the concession of its transmission and distribution assets.
