Sophia Yuan’s practice focuses on organizing and advising private investment funds.
Her work covers a broad range of transactions in the private investment fund space, including the organization of traditional private investment funds, the establishment of bespoke separately managed accounts and platforms, joint ventures and strategic partnerships, and the representation of limited partners in their investments in private funds. Her work also includes advising private equity secondary investors and fund managers on secondary transactions and other hybrid private equity transactions, such as continuation funds and tender offers, as well as investments in private equity sponsors.
Sophia joined the firm in 2013 and became counsel in 2025.
