Macey Levington’s practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions, as well as structured finance and securitization in capital markets.

His practice encompasses collateralized loan obligations, collateralized fund obligations, receivables securitizations, asset-based lending arrangements, and securitizations of esoteric assets, acting for underwriters, asset managers, borrowers, investors, and sponsors. He has extensive experience advising financial institutions and asset managers in structuring and negotiating collateralized loan obligations, asset-based lending transactions, and various forms of private credit financings and securitizations for direct lenders.

Macey joined the firm in 2009, became counsel in 2018, and became partner in 2021.

  • Major underwriters such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Barclays, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Mizuho, and Natixis, and collateral managers such as CVC Credit Partners and Silver Point Capital in the structuring and offering of CLOs

  • Verizon Communications in the establishment of a platform for the sale of installment receivables generated by their sales of cell phones

  • Cushman & Wakefield, Alcoa, Tech Data, and others in borrowing facilities backed by trade receivables.

  • Owl Rock in its CLO transactions and asset-based financing facilities.
