Joseph Kraft’s practice focuses on the use of e-Discovery technology in antitrust, securities enforcement, and litigation matters.

As Lead Attorney for Discovery Technology Solutions, Joseph advises clients on defensible data retention, preservation, collection, review, and production processes for electronically stored information (ESI). Joseph’s role focuses on identifying and leveraging the most effective technologies for the firm’s e-Discovery engagements. He trains Cleary attorneys on the use of e-Discovery tools and best practices and advises firm leadership on technologies in the industry.

Joseph also serves as an e-Discovery project manager, supervising teams of review attorneys for all stages of matters, including reviews for relevance, privilege claims and logging, advocacy, deposition preparation, and trial preparation. He coordinates with eDiscovery service providers to manage data collection, processing, and production logistics, and regularly utilizes predictive coding and technology-based analytics as a component of discovery strategies for document production and privilege reviews.

Prior to practicing law, Joseph worked for IBM Consulting, where he worked on Ecommerce systems implementations and also served as a technology trainer for fellow IT consultants.

Joseph joined the firm in 2011.
