Deniz Sezis

Deniz Sezis’ practice focuses on EU competition law.
She regularly advises clients on a wide range of antitrust issues, including complex EU and international merger control proceedings, restrictive practices, antitrust counseling, and litigation before EU courts. Deniz’s work has covered various sectors, notably pharmaceuticals, transport, and manufacturing and industrial services.
Deniz joined the firm in 2018 and became an associate in 2019. Prior to joining Cleary Gottlieb, she completed a Bluebook Traineeship at the European Commission (DG Competition) and practiced regulatory and antitrust law at a prominent Belgian law firm in Brussels.
