Chris Lee’s practice focuses on formation, structuring, and operation of private investment funds.

His experience covers a broad array of private fund strategies, including buyout, growth equity, venture, special situations, healthcare, climate, social impact and real estate funds, as well as “hybrid” funds, and various geographies, including pan-Asia, North Asia, Southeast Asia, China, and Korea. His work also includes advising sponsors and investors on secondary transactions, liquidity solutions, and other hybrid private equity transactions. He also represents institutional investors in connection with their investments in private investment funds.

Chris joined the firm in 2007, became counsel in 2017, and became partner in 2021. From 2007 to 2008 and 2016 to 2018, he was resident in the New York office, and from 2012 to 2015, he was resident in the Beijing office. Chris rejoined the Hong Kong office in 2018, and was also previously resident in Hong Kong from 2008 to 2012.
