UK Bribery Act 2010: Government Delay Is An Opportunity for Greater Clarity

The UK Government has now delayed, for a second time, the implementation of the Bribery Act 2010. It has yet to publish the Guidance which will define its scope. No new implementation date has been announced.

This Memorandum considers some of the concerns which have been raised in relation to the Act. It also explains why clients who do business in the United Kingdom or whose securities are listed on UK exchanges will need to pay close attention to the Guidance, when it is finally published.
