Revised EU Leniency Notice

On December 15, 2006 the Brussels office authored an alert memorandum entitled “Revised EU Leniency Notice”. The memorandum describes the new Notice adopted by the European Commission on December 7, 2006. The New Notice on Immunity from Fines and Reduction of Fines in Cartel Cases(the “New Leniency Notice”) replaces the Commission’s 2002 Leniency Notice and applies to all cartels for which no leniency application had been made under the 2002 Notice as of December 8, 2006.
