Administration Proposal for Comprehensive OTC Derivatives Regulation

On May 13, 2009, U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner outlined in a letter addressed to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid the Obama Administration’s proposal for the establishment of a “comprehensive regulatory framework” for over-the-counter derivatives.
