Williams Scotsman in $245 Million IPO

Cleary Gottlieb represented the underwriters, led by Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Lehman Brothers Inc. and CIBC World Markets Corp., in the initial public offering of Williams Scotsman International, Inc. Shares of Williams Scotsman are traded on Nasdaq. The transaction is valued at $245 million.
Founded more than 50 years ago, Williams Scotsman is the largest provider of modular space solutions in North America. Williams Scotsman’s lease fleet, which includes mobile offices, modular classrooms and other multi-unit modular structures, consists of approximately 77,000 units. Williams Scotsman also has a portable storage fleet consisting of approximately 20,000 units, which is primarily comprised of steel containers and addresses the need for secure, temporary, on-site storage of customer goods.
