January 25, 2012

Cleary Gottlieb assisted Vivendi in the negotiation of a new €1.1 billion revolving credit facility agreement, signed on January 25.

The bank syndicate was composed of 16 banks: Banco Santander, Bank of America, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Barclays Bank, BNP Paribas, Citibank International, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Crédit Mutuel CIC (acting through Banque Fédérative du Crédit Mutuel & Crédit Industriel et Commercial), Deutsche Bank Luxembourg, JPMorgan Chase Bank, HSBC Bank, Lloyds TSB Bank, Mizuho Corporate Bank, Natixis, The Royal Bank of Scotland and Société Générale.

This new facility replaces two existing credit lines that were maturing within the next 12 months and will also enable Vivendi to extend its average debt maturity.
