Verizon Launches Retail Notes Program

Cleary Gottlieb is representing Verizon in the launch of a Verizon InterNotes® program, under which notes will be issued to retail investors from time to time.

Verizon InterNotes® will be senior unsecured obligations of Verizon, and the specific terms of the notes will be set prior to the time of each issuance.  Incapital LLC will act as purchasing agent for the program, and each of Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, RBC Capital Markets, LLC and Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC will act as an agent for the program.
