Three Cleary Gottlieb Lawyers Named in Global Competition Review’s “40 Under 40”

March 28, 2012

Global Competition Review’s 2012 “40 Under 40” survey named Leah BrannonJeremy Calsyn and Thomas Graf among the world’s most talented competition lawyers younger than 40 years old.

The article in GCR’s March issue notes that Cleary Gottlieb “tops the law firms with an impressive three entrants.” The article highlights career achievements and industry insights from the honorees.

Published every four years, this year’s final 40 come from 15 countries and were selected from more than 1,000 nominations. GCR narrowed this down to a shortlist of 150, taking into account how many times, and by whom, each individual had been nominated. Winners were then selected through online voting open to more than 1,100 lawyers and economists included in The International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers and Economists. In an effort to ensure the final list was a reflection of talent rather than contacts, voters were strictly prohibited from selecting entrants from their own firm, and votes were closely monitored.
