Sodiaal International in €40 Million Term Loan Agreement

Cleary Gottlieb represented Sodiaal International in connection with the negotiation and implementation of a €40 million term loan granted by the European Investment Bank.

The facility agreement was signed on December 20, 2018, and the transaction closed on January 10, 2019.

The proceeds of the term facility, which will mature in January 2027, will be used to finance the group’s research and development programs.

Sodiaal International is a holding company that owns the business units of the Sodiaal Group, the leading dairy cooperative group in France (with stakes in Yoplait and Candia).
