Cleary Gottlieb partners Valérie Lemaitre, Liza Lenas, Polina Lyadnova, Francesca Odell, Meme Peponis, and Marie-Laurence Tibi have been named IFLR1000 Women Leaders for 2021.
According to IFLR1000, they are among “the leading female transactional lawyers in the world,” have “impressive track records,” and “are consistently recommended by clients and peers for the quality of their advice and service.”
Last year, Meme was interviewed by IFLR1000 on the topic of gender disparity in the U.S. legal profession and how she participates in forums and groups focused on advancing women lawyers.
IFLR1000’s Women Leaders are selected from a research process that includes evaluation of thousands of submissions, survey data of thousands of client referees and peers, and hundreds of interviews.
