Samsung in Admission of Gdrs to London Stock Exchange and Simultaneous Delisting From Luxembourg Stock Exchange

Cleary Gottlieb represented Samsung Electronics Co Ltd (Samsung) in its admission of global depositary receipts (GDRs) representing Samsung’s non-voting preference shares to the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and simultaneous delisting of GDRs from the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE).

On February 13, 2025, Samsung’s GDRs were admitted to the ‘certificates representing certain securities (depositary receipts)’ category of the Official List of the FCA and to trading on the Main Market of the LSE.
