Cleary Gottlieb counsel Penelope Christophorou has been elected as a member of the American Law Institute (ALI.)
Penny joins the ranks of fellow Cleary lawyers who have been selected as ALI members including Jonathan Blackman, Evan Davis, Robert Greig, Richard deC. Hinds, Steven Horowitz, Richard Hulbert, Jerry Hyman, Richard Kreindler, Michael Lazerwitz, Lewis Liman, Mitchell Lowenthal, Sandra Rocks, and Matthew Slater.
The American Law Institute is the leading independent organization in the United States producing scholarly work to improve the law. ALI members are elected to promote the clarification and simplification of the law and its better adaptation to social needs, to secure the better administration of justice, and to encourage and carry on scholarly and scientific legal work.
