Kookmin Bank in $500 Million Notes Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking and Standard Chartered Bank as the joint bookrunners and lead managers and KB Investment & Securities as a co-manager in a Rule 144A/Reg S offering by Kookmin Bank of $500 million floating rate notes due 2017 under its $8 billion Global Medium Term Note Programme. The notes were listed on the Singapore Exchange. The offering priced on January 21 and closed on January 27.

Kookmin Bank is the flagship bank of KB Financial Group, one of the largest financial holding companies in Korea and whose shares are listed on the NYSE.
