Cleary Gottlieb represented Barclays, BNP PARIBAS, BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup and Standard Chartered Bank as the joint bookrunners and lead managers and KDB Daewoo Securities as a co-manager in a Rule 144A/Reg S offering by Kookmin Bank of $500 million 1.625% senior notes due 2017 under its $8 billion Global Medium Term Note Programme. The notes were listed on the Singapore Exchange. The offering priced on July 7 and closed on July 14.
